Athens has been Europe’s hotspot for a couple of thousand years, so it’s understandable that you would like to visit it. If you manage to find some time to do some work while in Athens, we have your back. Whether it’s for studying or doing work, you’ll want to do it at a cool Greek spot. Down below we have a list of work-friendly cafes with good WiFi.
Taf Coffee
This is a cool, modern spot with amazing interior design. It’s bright and charming and doing work here is a joy. It should go without saying that the Internet is good. However, the best thing about this place is the coffee. They truly have some of the most sophisticated brews in Athens. It also has some cool spots outside, if the weather allows for it. You can find them at Emmanouil Benaki 7, and they are open every day but Sunday.
Harvest Coffee & Wine
This is a pretty great breakfast spot and you should try to swing by for that. However, if you come there for breakfast, the place is pretty full. If you really want to do some work, you should come in the afternoon or early evening. They have a cool, dark interior with enough power sockets and good WiFi. There isn’t much more you can want from a cafe! They have some tables outside, which is nice in the autumn and spring months. Αιόλου, Evripidou 64 is the address and they are open every day.
Mokka Specialty Coffee
This place isn’t designed as a work-friendly cafe, but it’s a really cool place to visit. Mokka Specialty Coffee is a traditional Greek coffeehouse and what better way to experience the local culture than to try out their coffee? Sip on one of those, while working on your laptop to feel like a true international traveler. Some of the more modern cafes are better suited to laptop work, but this is a uniquely Greek experience. You can find them at Athinas 44 and they open very early every day.
Coffee Joint
Just a couple of minutes away from the Acropolis, you’ll find this coffee join. It’s not super fancy or special, but it has a truly Greek vibe. However, what makes it great is the proximity to the Acropolis, making it a great place to visit after a long day of walking around and taking in the local sights. They have some good food too if you’re hungry. They are located on Vourvachi 5-9, and work every day, but Sunday.
